Pakistan’s Northern Wonders
Day 1 — Arrival in Islamabad
Arrive at Islamabad International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight: Islamabad
 
Day 2 — Islamabad → Skardu (Flight)
45 min domestic flight
Fly from Islamabad to Skardu over the Himalaya & Karakoram ranges.
Visit: Upper & Lower Kachura Lakes, Shangri-La Resort, Cold Desert, Shiger Valley & Shiger Fort.
Overnight: Skardu
 
Day 3 — Skardu → Hunza Valley
Drive along the legendary Karakoram Highway.
Stops at: Nanga Parbat Viewpoint, Rakaposhi Viewpoint, Junction of 3 mountain ranges: Karakoram, Himalaya, Hindu Kush.
Overnight: Duikar, Hunza
 
Day 4 — Explore Hunza Valley
Visit: Hooper Valley, Hooper Glacier (short trek).
Return to Hunza for: Ganish Village, Baltit Fort, Altit Fort.
Sunset at Duikar Viewpoint.
Overnight: Duikar, Hunza
 
Day 5 — Upper Hunza
Visit: Baskochi Meadows Trek, Hussaini Suspension Bridge, Gulmit Carpet House.
Overnight: Attabad Lake
 
Day 6 — Khunjerab Pass Excursion
Visit: Passu Cones, Passu Village, Sost, and the Pakistan–China Border (Khunjerab Pass, 4,693m).
Return to Attabad for the night.
Overnight: Attabad Lake
 
Day 7 — Hunza Local Culture Day
Stroll through traditional irrigation channels, visit Karimabad handicraft market, enjoy Hunza walnut cake at Hunza de Café.
Overnight: Duikar, Hunza
 
Day 8 — Hunza → Fairy Meadows
Drive to Raikot Bridge → Jeep to Tattoo Village → Trek 3–4 hrs to Fairy Meadows.
Note: Bring only essentials for 2 days; other luggage stays in the bus.
Overnight: Fairy Meadows Cottage
 
Day 9 — Fairy Meadows / Beyal Camp / Nanga Parbat View
Trek to Beyal Camp (2 hrs) or optionally to Nanga Parbat Base Camp (additional 1.5 hrs).
Return to Fairy Meadows.
Overnight: Fairy Meadows
 
Day 10 — Fairy Meadows → Besham
Trek to Tattoo Village → Jeep to Raikot Bridge → Drive to Besham via Karakoram Highway. Lunch at Chilas.
Overnight: Besham
 
Day 11 — Besham → Islamabad
Drive back to Islamabad.
Visit: Taxila Ancient Buddhist Civilization (2,500 years old).
Overnight: Islamabad
 
Day 12 — Islamabad City Tour → Airport Drop-Off
Visit: Faisal Mosque, Pakistan Monument, Rawalpindi local bazaar, Jinnah Super Market, Safa Gold Mall, Lok Virsa Museum (time permitting).
Evening airport transfer. End of services.
