❓ FAQ
What is the weather like during the hike in October?
October is one of the best months for hiking in Jeju. The weather is cool, clear, and comfortable, with average temperatures around 15–22°C.Humidity is lower, the skies are often bright, and the autumn breeze makes long walks enjoyable.
This is also the season of golden pampas grass, autumn foliage, and wide-open views, perfect for photography and outdoor activities.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Jeju’s weather can change quickly. In the event of heavy rain or strong winds, our guide will adjust or replace the route with a safer alternative to ensure your safety and the smooth running of the trip.
Can I join if I have no hiking experience?
Yes!Hiking in Jeju during April is generally easy-level. Most Olle Trail sections feature coastal paths, village lanes, and countryside scenery with mostly gentle terrain—perfect for beginners.
What gear should I prepare?
We recommend bringing:
Hiking shoes
Windproof/waterproof jacket
Personal water bottle
Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
Lightweight daypack
Can you accommodate vegetarian or special dietary needs?
Yes!Please inform us during registration. We will do our best to arrange vegetarian, halal, or special dietary restrictions (e.g., no seafood or nuts).
Is the Hallasan summit hike mandatory?
No. It is an optional challenge. If you choose not to join, your day simply ends after the regular itinerary.
Will language be a problem?
Not at all. We provide a Chinese tour leader and a Korean local guide, so communication will be fully supported throughout the trip.
Do I need to carry cash?
Most places in Jeju City accept credit cards. However, some small shops or restaurants in rural areas may accept cash only, so it’s good to carry a small amount of Korean won.
Is mobile data easily accessible?
Yes.4G/5G signal is available in most areas of Jeju Island.
How much should I prepare for tips?
Tipping is not a mandatory practice in Korea. You generally do not need to tip. However, if you feel the service was exceptional, you may offer a small tip as a token of appreciation, entirely at your discretion.
