Day 1 – Arrival in Islamabad

Accommodation: Hill View Hotel Islamabad (or similar)

  • Airport pickup from Islamabad International Airport

  • Transfer to hotel

  • Overnight stay in Islamabad


Day 2 – Fly to Skardu

Accommodation: Dynasty Hotel Skardu (or similar)


Meals: Breakfast (depending on flight timing)

  • Scenic flight over the mighty Himalayas and Karakoram Range

  • Visit Kachura Village

    • Upper Kachura Lake

    • Lower Kachura Lake (home of Shangri-La Resort)

  • Lunch at Tibet Hotel

  • Visit Shiger Valley

    • Jeep safari in the Cold Desert

    • Explore Shiger Valley

    • Visit historic Shiger Fort

  • Overnight in Skardu


Day 3 – Drive to Hunza Valley

Accommodation: Hard Rock Hotel Hunza (Duikar)


Meals: Breakfast (7:00 AM)

  • Drive along the legendary Karakoram Highway

  • Stop at:

    • Nanga Parbat View Point (“The Killer Mountain”)

    • Rakaposhi View Point

    • Junction of the Karakoram, Himalayas & Hindu Kush

Overnight in Duikar, Hunza Valley


Day 4 – Explore Hunza Valley

Accommodation: Hard Rock Hotel Hunza


Meals: Breakfast (7:00 AM)

  • Visit Hopper (Hooper) Valley

  • Trek to Hopper Glacier

  • Afternoon visits:

    • Ganish Village (1,000-year-old settlement)

    • Baltit Fort

  • Sunset viewpoint at Duikar

Overnight in Hunza


Day 5 – Upper Hunza Valley & Attabad Lake

Accommodation: Famree Resort Attabad (or similar)


Meals: Breakfast (7:00 AM)

  • Drive to Upper Hunza Valley

  • Activities:

    • Baskochi Meadows Trek (Aerial views of Attabad Lake)

    • Hussaini Suspension Bridge

    • Gulmit Carpet House

  • Return to Attabad Lake

Overnight at Attabad Lake


Day 6 – Khunjerab Pass (Pakistan–China Border)

Accommodation: Famree Resort Attabad (or similar)


Meals: Breakfast (8:00 AM)

  • Passu Cones & Passu Village

  • Visit Sost (last town on Karakoram Highway)

  • Khunjerab Pass – World’s highest paved international border crossing

Return to Attabad Lake for overnight


Day 7 – Local Cultural Experience in Hunza

Accommodation: Hard Rock Hotel Hunza


Meals: Breakfast (8:00 AM)

  • Village walk & local lifestyle experience

  • Explore traditional irrigation water channels

  • Coffee at Hunza De Café (famous walnut cake)

  • Visit Karimabad Handicrafts Market

Overnight in Duikar


Day 8 – Journey to Fairy Meadows

Accommodation: FM Cottages


Meals: Breakfast (7:00 AM)

  • Drive to Raikot Bridge

  • Jeep ride to Tattu Village

  • Lunch at Tattu Valley

  • 3–4 hour trek to Fairy Meadows

Overnight at Fairy Meadows Cottage


Day 9 – Beyal Camp / Nanga Parbat Base Camp

Accommodation: FM Cottages


Meals: Breakfast (7:00 AM)

  • Trek to Beyal Camp (2 hours one way)

  • Optional: Continue to Nanga Parbat Base Camp (+1.5 hrs)

  • Lunch at Beyal Camp

  • Return to Fairy Meadows


Day 10 – Fairy Meadows to Besham

Accommodation: Hilton Hotel Besham (or similar)


Meals: Breakfast (7:00 AM)

  • Trek down to Tattu Valley

  • Jeep to Raikot Bridge

  • Drive along Karakoram Highway

  • Lunch in Chilas

Overnight in Besham


Day 11 – Return to Islamabad

Accommodation: Hill View Hotel Islamabad


Meals: Breakfast (8:00 AM)

  • Take flight to Islamabad

  • Visit Taxila – Ancient Gandhara Civilization (2,500 years old)

    • Museum

    • Buddhist Stupa

    • Sirkap ruins

Overnight in Islamabad


Day 12 – Islamabad / Rawalpindi City Tour

Meals: Breakfast (9:00 AM)

1. How fit do I need to be for this trip?

This tour involves moderate walking and trekking. Participants should be comfortable walking 4–6 hours per day on uneven terrain. No technical climbing skills are required, but a reasonable level of fitness is recommended.

If you are unsure about your fitness level, feel free to contact us for advice.


2. Is this trip suitable for beginners?

Yes. Most of our routes are suitable for beginners with basic hiking experience. Our tour leader and licensed local guides will support and assist you throughout the journey.


3. Is Pakistan safe to visit?

Yes. The regions we visit in this itinerary Hunza, Skardu, Fairy Meadows, and Northern Pakistan are widely considered among the safest and most welcoming areas in the country. These destinations have hosted international trekkers, climbers, and travelers for many years.

Your safety is our top priority, and the trip is carefully organized to ensure a secure experience:

4. What kind of accommodation can I expect?

We stay in carefully selected hotels, guesthouses, and mountain lodges depending on location. Rooms are typically twin-sharing unless a single supplement is requested.

Accommodation standards vary in remote mountain areas but are clean, comfortable, and safe.


5. What meals are included?

Daily breakfast is included. Some itineraries include lunch and dinner as stated in the program.

Meals are mainly local cuisine, allowing you to experience authentic regional flavors.


6. Where we meet?

Participants may arrive at Islamabad International Airport at any time on Day 1. Airport transfer to the hotel is included.

Participants may depart from Islamabad International Airport at any time on Day 12. Airport transfer will be arranged accordingly.


7. What should I pack?

After booking confirmation, we will provide a detailed packing list. Essential items usually include:

  • Waterproof hiking shoes

  • Warm layers

  • Sun protection

  • Personal medication

For specific treks, additional gear may be required.


8. Will there be luggage support?

On selected routes, luggage transfer services are available. For remote trekking sections, you may need to carry a daypack while main luggage remains at the hotel or in the vehicle.

9.What is the weather like at the end of October?

Late October is one of the best times to visit Northern Pakistan. The weather is generally stable, dry, and clear, offering excellent mountain visibility.

  • Mild and comfortable

Hunza / Skardu (2,000–2,500m)

  • Daytime: 10–18°C

  • Night: 0–8°C

  • Cool mornings and evenings

Fairy Meadows / Higher Altitude Areas (3,000m+)

  • Daytime: 5–12°C

  • Night: -5–5°C

  • Cold at night, especially after sunset


10. What happens in case of bad weather?

11. How many people will be in the group?

Our group sizes are intentionally kept small max 12 to ensure quality experience and personalized support. Private groups are also available upon request.
